Firm to Represent City of Chicago in $2.5 Billion Midway Airport Lease Deal

The Firm is pleased to represent the City of Chicago as Lessor in the 99-year lease of its Midway Airport. The $2.5 billion transaction involves three investors, Citi Infrastructure Investors, John Hancock Life Insurance Co., and YVR Airport Services Ltd. This deal comes after the Firm's representation of the City of Chicago in the Chicago Skyway lease and the long-term lease of the City's downtown parking garages. In addition, the Firm is currently serving as Co-Bond Counsel for the City of Chicago in the issuance of the General Obligation Tender Notes, Series 2009.
